Salutations, fiends. Here's what's new with Brutality.
EU and World Wide Backers:
There is a slight delay with shipping, unfortunately. We're finishing up a deal with a distributor in England so we can send the boxes to the EU, and the details are close to finished. We were hoping to get this done sooner, but it's taken a bit longer than we'd hoped. If we sent the boxes out ourselves, it'd be well over the amount we collected for shipping by a significant amount. We are working to get the fastest way of shipping all the boxes to the distribution center so we can to be cost effective and get everyone their boxes as quickly as possible. Apologies for the delays, we've been working over the past few weeks to get this situated and we're close to getting it solidified. We'll send out an update when the boxes are on their way to the distribution center.
We had a great time at PAX East. We had 3 demo stations that were full pretty much all day. In fact we met a few backers of the game at the show, and it was great to talk with everyone. The shipping company also lost one of our containers... which had copies of the game and our booth in it. The Table Titans crew had to make a booth from PVC Pipes and Table cloth from a local hardware store, and then got some signs made after a few trips to Kinkos. Luckily the other shipped container made it to the show, which had some Brutality boxes. The shipping company is now sending the missing container back to us this week... so that was interesting. On the game side, one of the best combos I saw at the show:
God Killer impaled and slammed someone into a catapult, which launched them into a spike wall, which knocked them into a fire tile, then they mind controlled that character using the Crown of Sorrow Artifact making them walk through more fire, then walked them into the same catapult and launched them into spikes and flames again. IT. WAS. RUDE.
Rulebook and FAQ Page:
We've heard feedback from folks that the rules could use some clarifications. We're in talks with an Editor who works specifically with board game companies, and we'll be doing an updated version of the rules. In the meantime, we've also updated the Brutality website to have a FAQ page. If you have questions about anything, feel free to post them on Brutality's Board Game Geek forum, as we've been answering them there.
Brutality Figure Painting:
Check out these badass painted figures! We've linked their Twitter names if you want to check out more of their work.
Well first thing's first, we have to get everyone their boxes. After that, we'll be focusing on rules 2.0 along with our FAQ page. On top of that, Frost has been working on some new Heroes and game modes...
Thanks for all the support,

Shipping Updates and Brutality Tips Video

We have sent a large amount of Brutality out. In fact some of our backers have already posted images with their boxes in hand on social media. We're shipping from Oregon, and here's the estimated time table for shipping to everyone
US West Coast: This week, backers on the West Coast of the US should be getting their boxes.
US Middle America: Next week, backers should be getting their boxes.
US East Coast: Next week, backers should be getting their boxes.
Canada: In 2-3 weeks our Northern neighbors will get their boxes.
EU: We are shipping all boxes to a fulfillment center in the UK, from there the boxes will be sent all over Europe. It's about 3 weeks to ship to EU then it'll be about 2 weeks to get everything shipped to everyone.
AU/Rest of the World: This could be up to 2 months. Shipping more than half way across the world (or military bases) takes some time.
Everyone should get their boxes before our projected project deadline.
And since everyone will soon be getting their copies of the game, we figured we'd make a video featuring some Brutality tips and treachery:
Thanks for all the support, we are very excited for everyone to get their gauntlets on the game.
We've got boxes of Brutality. LOTS of boxes.

Want to see what thousands of boxes of Brutality look like?
We finally got ALL the boxes of Brutality and the Stretch Goal Figure Packs.
Unpack these boxes, then individually pack up your (hard)core Brutality box (see below), and 3 stretch goal figure boxes. If you want to see what you'll be getting as a reminder, check out the unboxing video here!
We're purchasing the boxes to ship everything to everyone and we'll start shipping out this weekend. We've got over 1200 boxes to ship out, so it may take a few weeks to get everything packed and shipped to everyone, but we're already on getting these out to our backers. Thanks for your (eager and excited) patience.
Also if you do a Youtube video, article, blog, or podcast about the game, let us know so we can update everyone here to show off your content.
If you have moved recently, or are moving very soon, update your BackerKit account! We're locking down the ability to make updates to your address on Friday March 1st!
Next up, we're going to be at PAX EAST this year! We'll be at the Table Titans booth demoing the game. Stop by if you want to talk about Brutality... or metal... or video games... or brutal metal video games.
That's all for now. We'll send out more updates when we've got more news. Thanks!

Manufacturer Shipping Boxes

Fiends and Friends.
We just got our confirmation email for shipping from the manufacturer. All boxes will be ready and on there way to the US on January 14th. They should arrive mid to late February. After that, we'll be packing up everything and mailing them out to you.
Playtesting the example copy of the game. The Demon King played the Relic Card "Trail Blazer" which leaves fire anywhere you move for 2 turns... The Demon King is 3 spaces wide, so he left epic amounts of flames in his wake. The God Killer slammed an enemy in the flames, and then the Conjurer sent ghost knights into the flames to attack that same enemy. W-R-E-C-K-E-D.
Packaging some figure packs in a package.
Thanks again for your support. We're looking forward to getting these games in your hands as soon as we can.

Hey There! Check out our unboxing video below. This was one of the proof of concept retail boxes we got from the manufacturer, along with the figure expansions. We're getting really close to packing up everything from the manufacturer, and shipping it to our warehouse in Oregon.
That'll be about a 4-7 week process to get it here. After that, we'll be in 'get it shipped to backers' mode. We've got quite a few to send out, but we'll be hustling to get it everyone as soon as (in)humanly possible. That'll probably be a month or so to get out the over 1100 copies of the game to everyone.
Thanks again for the support, and we hope everyone has a Brutal holiday season!
