Brutality Figures Update
over 5 years ago – Sun, Sep 16, 2018 at 12:47:42 AM

Hey There,

We've just moved into the mass manufacturing stage for Brutality. (Yesssss.)
We got the figures in the mail a few days ago, and they are looking sweet. Keep in mind these are the resin figures with an off-white sort of color, and the shipping product will be pvc and a lighter grey color. I gave the publisher some notes, but for the most part these are looking killer.

Mass manufacturing will take a few months, then it'll take another month to ship to the US, and then it'll be another month to get you all the games you ordered! It looks like we'll beat our estimation for delivery, and hopefully early 2019 you'll all have your copies of Brutality.

As usual we'll send out more updates when we get 'em.

Thanks,

Figure Molds and Box Updates
over 5 years ago – Wed, Aug 15, 2018 at 02:03:14 AM

Greetings.

More manufacturing updates for everyone. We recently received the 2D assets for review. These were the cards, box, board, tiles, etc. I’ve included some of the pictures. There were some small notes but overall I’m happy with the quality.

The manufacturer is also creating the master molds for the figures. Basically they’ll take these master versions of the characters and use them to create the mold for them to mass produce the pvc figures. That mold color is not the color the figures will be (they will be grey), just the master mold color. I’m hoping in a few weeks to get the figure samples in my hands. Once I get that, I’ll of course send out some images or maybe make a quick video. Then if we’re happy with the figures, we’ll start mass manufacturing, then get them shipped to the states, then get them shipped to you.

We’re working our butts off to get the best looking stuff as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience, everyone.

Manufacturing Update!
over 5 years ago – Wed, Aug 01, 2018 at 09:57:16 PM

Hey There.

We're being sent prototype versions of the board, box, instructions, tiles, and cards. Once we get those and approve them, the game will be starting mass manufacturing. Here are some pics from the manufacturer:

When we get 'em in our gauntlets, I'll post some more pics.

We won't be at Gen Con this year, but good luck to all of you adventuring out there.

Thanks,

Brutality Manufacturing Update
almost 6 years ago – Sat, Jul 07, 2018 at 12:58:59 AM

Salutations, friends.

We've been hard at work with our manufacturer to ensure everything is being submitted in the proper format for figures, the box, cards, tiles, and every other part of the game.

Here's a few renders of what the box should look like based on our templates:

Our graphic designer/layout/UI artist Matt Golins has been slaying these designs, with our logo designed by Miles Collins, and of course character art by Kory Hubbell. Matt's been a champ at getting everything print ready, which, is lots of adjustments and rework. His patience and work ethic are saintly, to be sure. There's still some back and forth to be had regarding fun stuff like printing bleeds, getting figures print ready, and editing last minute bits of text, but we're making good progress.

Also remember to fill out your BackerKit survey if you haven't already! We've got about 88% filled out.
Or if you have any fiends or family looking to get their copy of Brutality, it's available for pre-order on BackerKit.

As always, thanks for the support. We'll post some more updates and pictures once we get the prototype version from the manufacturer in our hands.

Thanks,

Brutality Beginning The Submission Process
almost 6 years ago – Mon, Jun 11, 2018 at 01:45:19 AM

Salutations.

We're now beginning the submission process to the manufacturer. There'll likely be some back and forth to ensure we got everything formatted/sized/organized correctly, but once we're good we'll get a prototype version of the game to ensure we got everything right.

In the meantime, check out some epic artwork from Kory Hubbell. First up, the new Box Cover:

Here's the Gulthaen Mountains Stretch Goal Board Variant:

The Gulthaen Mountains are known as the only place in the world colder than death itself. The good news is the second you get cut, the cold air ice-cauterizes your wounds. The bad news is spikes carved from ice that's as hard as steel surround you. The Gulthaen Ice Pit variant of the board has walls of sharpened icicle spikes surrounding the edges. Players not only have less spaces to move, but more opportunities to knock back enemies into Environmental Hazards at the edges of the board. Players cannot occupy the same space as the icicle spikes, as they have the same rules as the Spiked Walls Environmental Hazards. Best of luck felling your opponents, and keep moving so the blood doesn't freeze in your veins.

Also, check out this render of Kolby Jukes' Demon King model. All hail the Demon King:

If you haven't filled out your BackerKit survey, do eeeeet. Also if you have any friends who missed out on the Kickstarter campaign, let them know they can pre-order the game here:

Thanks again for your support!
